Kampala, UGANDA – Day 3 of the University Debate Nationals 2022 featured the last batch of the preliminary rounds, which had debaters and public speakers vying on their final words to make it to the quarter finals. The overall theme of the debate this year is “Uganda at 60: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”
Later on in the evening, the participants decided to wind down with a social night that saw renowned performers like saxophonist Happy Kyazze, musician Noah Infectious, and spoken word poet Isabirye Mitch. Also as a part of the night, the participants themselves took up the stage, with a bunch of them presenting poems, singing songs, and pulling their strokes on the dance floor. A night of fun indeed.
